Be active

Even light exercise like walking or gentle jogging for as little as ten minutes, can improve your quality of sleep. But do note, getting hot and sweaty too close to bedtime could actually could work against you voyage for sleep. Reason being that exercise stimulates hormones, speeds up metabolism and raises body temperature, which can interfere with precious sleep.

Find a routine
Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day (yes, that means at weekends too!). If you can get into a routine sleep-wake cycle, you will feel more energised and refreshed than you would if you got the same number of hours at irregular times.
-
Relax
When you’re getting prepped for bed, try to relax. You might want to read a favourite book or magazine by a dim light, take a nice bath, listen to music or do some easy stretches. Pamper yourself!

Eat & drink right
We’ve heard it all before – “You are what you eat.” This is no less true in the case of getting enough sleep. Limiting caffeine intake and avoiding big, heavy meals at night can improve the quality of your sleep. Similarly, avoid drinking too much in the evening so that you’re not running to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
