  • If you’re just starting out in the kitchen or trying new things, then there’s one thing you want to avoid every time you cook: food poisoning!

A lot of the time food poisoning can be down to undercooked food. Some people get worried about this and will overcook their food to make sure they avoid it, but that’s not ideal either.

Our guide below will give you some tips on how to check if your food is cooked properly so you can be more confident with what you’re serving up.

If you’re cooking with Tefal pans it’s even easier to get it right thanks to Thermospot. Watch for the Thermospot in the centre of the pan to go completely red, which means your pan is up to the right temperature to start cooking.
