  • Ingredients

    Serves 6 to 8

    • 100g Diced Shallots
    • 15g Butter
    • 5 Fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
    • 3 Springs fresh thyme, finely chopped
    • 1-2 Cloves minced garlic
    • 320g Sausage meat (approximately 6 sausages)
    • 5g Panko breadcrumbs
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
    • 5 Slices prosciutto

  • Instructions

Made using the NEW Tefal Multicook Actifry

    Prepare the Aromatics:

    • Set your Tefal Multicook to the sauté function.

    • Add 15g of butter and let it melt.

    • Once the butter has melted add 100g of diced shallots.

    • Add the finely chopped sage leaves and thyme sprigs.

    • Sauté and stir for about 5 minutes until the shallots are translucent.

    • Add the minced garlic and stir, letting the residual heat cook the garlic without burning it.

    Prepare the Sausage Mixture:

    • While the shallot mixture is cooling, in a large bowl, combine 320g of sausage meat.

    • Add 65g of panko breadcrumbs to the sausage meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    • Once the shallot mixture has cooled, add it to the sausage mixture and mix everything thoroughly until well combined.

    • Form the mixture into one large sausage shape.

    Wrap the Stuffing:

    • Lay out approximately 5 slices of prosciutto on a clean surface, overlapping slightly.

    • Place the sausage mixture on top of the prosciutto.

    • Carefully wrap the prosciutto around the sausage mixture, ensuring it is fully enclosed.

    Cook the Stuffing:

    • Set the Tefal Multicook appliance to the roast/bake function.

    • Place the wrapped sausage mixture into the appliance.

    • Roast for 20 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the sausage meat is cooked through.

  • Serve

    • Once cooked, remove the stuffing from the Multicook appliance and let it rest for a few minutes.

    • Slice the stuffing into portions.

    • Serve alongside your favourite Christmas meat and enjoy!

  • Aidan Top Tip:

For quicker cooking, chop the stuffing into cylinder shape portions to decrease the cooking time. Using a versatile device like the Multicook allows you to utilise space and time – whilst it’s self-stirring you can be cracking on with other tasks. For a tasty Boxing Day lunch, use the bread function on the Multicook to make a fresh loaf for your leftover turkey sandwiches.”
