Recipes and Reviews of the Tefal Optigrill

by Tefal Team on 23 May 2016
  • It cooks much more than you’d expect it to, you don’t need to keep a stern eye on it or second-guess it and it prepares food to perfection every single time… No, we’re not talking about the perfect partner!

For those of you who haven’t already been introduced, please meet the Tefal OptiGrill. Of course we think it’s pretty smart, but you don’t need to just take our word for it.

  • Natalie aka Fit and Gluten-Free describes it as her “favourite kitchen gadget… well made… sturdy and strong and above all, really easy to clean!”

We think her Jerk Chicken recipe is not only one of the most colourful dishes we’ve seen but one of the most tempting. A beautiful mix of sweet and spicy with chicken cooked to perfection.

  • Annie of Tales Of Annie Bean thinks the OptiGrill is “nice and sleek… so easy to use … and does all the hard work for you”. See how she got on making a healthy steak and chips dinner.

  • If you’re not necessarily a big meat-eater, you might want to try Kellie of Food To Glow’s Panini-Style Eggplant Parmigiana: “just press a button and walk away”! She also offers some great advice on a few other “experiments” in the grill, including salmon and toasties.

  • Lastly, get in the mood for summer – even if the weather isn’t playing ball! – with A Glug Of Oil’s Bacon Wrapped Chicken with Pineapple Pepper and Chilli Salsa. Jan’s cooked everything from pork to corn on the cob on her OptiGrill and states that “every one has turned out perfectly”. Who are we to argue with that?

  • We’d love to know what you think or how you get on trying the recipes above!

  • Succulent steak still sizzles
As restaurateurs know, a picture of a perfectly cooked succulent steak is still an image that’s known to entice diners through the doors of their establishment.Although it’s not as popular in Asia or Eastern European countries, beef steak is still consumed in vast quantities throughout the US, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe. A sizzling steak is a firm favourite on menus across the UK, Spain, Belgium and Luxembourg.
